A muse, a city, a state of mind, a love, a hate, never indifferent. One place that provokes and challenges, soothes and calms, pacifies and bewilder, bemuse and amuse, a paradox, a , the abandon and the Winston Churchill saying "It is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma" but the words also continue "but perhaps there is a key".
How can a city, repetitive it is nature, still be unique while portrayed on video. If simply calling its name throughout already makes it intense, disturbing and over the top, if simply reading its letter coveys angst and damnation, why not flee it entirely. Perhaps it was never a Stockholm syndrome, it was a Beirut one all along.
