At some point still images were not enough to visualize her concept; this is when she took her sketches to a whole new level by layering her drawings, creating animations and adding sounds by recording her own voice.

Right after she got her bachelor degree, and with the help of Brut L'Atelier, Ghenwa contributed to the 'Volume II' exhibition, where she launched her 'Takrar' collection and displayed her latest artistic work on the wall of Brut.

Ghénwa Abou Fayad is a graphic designer and illustrator, professionally active since 2014. She attended the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and earned a Bachelor degree in Graphic Design. She is now taking her studies to a higher level at the Lebanese University where she is doing her masters in graphic design and visual communications. Her practice extends from graphics to paintings and hand drawn animations along with sketches, sculptures, wall designs and tattoo designs.
